My daughter read I, Zombie and liked it�and she�s not a horror fan. Originally it did not use the term ‘graphic-novel’ to describe itself but was later credited with being the first one. Focusing especially on American comic books and graphic novels from the 1930s to the present, this massive four-volume work provides a colorful yet authoritative source on the entire history of the comics medium. As you can probably tell from the above paragraphs I am hardly a fan of Po-Mo architecture but that is merely my affective response to the aesthetics of the style in one particular manifestation.
